Kuala Lumpu

Kuala Lumpu, officially the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and colloquially referred to as KL, is a federal territory and the capital city of Malaysia. It is one of the fastest-growing cities in Asia and the largest city in Malaysia. It is among the fastest growing metropolitan regions in Southeast Asia, both in population and economic development. The city serves as the cultural, financial, and economic centre of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur has undergone rapid development in recent decades and is home to the tallest twin buildings in the world, the Petronas Towers, which have since become an iconic symbol of Malaysian development. Kuala Lumpur is one of the leading cities in the world for tourism and shopping. The city houses three of the world's ten largest shopping malls.

Petronas Twin Towers

One of Kuala Lumpur's iconic cityscapes, the Petronas Twin Towers are the tallest twin towers and the fifth tallest building in the world. It is a symbol of Malaysia's booming economy. The 1,483-foot-tall Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur were the world's tallest buildings at the time. This was the first time this title fell outside the United States. The two 88-story towers include more than 8 million square feet of office space, 1.5 million square feet of shopping and entertainment facilities, 4,500-space underground parking, a petroleum museum, a concert hall, and a multimedia conference center.

Masjid Negara

Islam is the state religion of Malaysia, and mosques are spread across the country. The National Mosque in the center of Kuala Lumpur covers an area of ​​5.5 hectares and can accommodate about 8,000 people praying at the same time. This is a group of buildings including a prayer hall, a large minaret, a mausoleum and an office building. Its shape and decoration are similar to the three major mosques in Mecca. It is magnificent and is an outstanding representative of Islamic architectural art. The most eye-catching feature is due to its cascading umbrella-shaped roof. There are 18 stars on the main dome of the mosque, representing the 13 Malay states and the five pillars of Islam. Every Friday, Sunday, devout believers flock here to pray.

Kuala Lumpur Tower

The Kuala Lumpur Toweris located on Coffee Hill in downtown Kuala Lumpur.Its tower is 1,381 feet tall.It can be called the symbol of Kuala Lumpur.The surface of the tower is vertical arch ribs, and the tower weighs 100,000 metric tons.Instead of piling, a free-standing piece of land was used for the base of the tower.The Kuala Lumpur Tower can be said to be the tallest tower in Southeast Asia and the fourth tallest communications tower in the world.The construction of the tower lasted 4 years and was completed in April 1996.Its wind-resistant structure can withstand winds of 90 miles per hour.It is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers and one of the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur.
